NGO Darpan is a portal launched by NITI Aayog, Government of India, to create a comprehensive database of Non‑Governmental Organisations (NGOs) operating in the country. Registration on the NGO Darpan portal provides your organisation with a Unique ID, which is often mandatory for applying for government grants, FCRA registration, and various tax exemptions. The portal facilitates transparency and better coordination between the government and the voluntary sector.

Documents Required

  • Registration certificate of the NGO (trust deed / society registration / section 8 company).
  • PAN card of the NGO.
  • Details of the Chief Functionary and at least two Board Members (Aadhaar, PAN, email, mobile).
  • Registered office address proof.
  • Brief description of the organisation's activities and area of operation.
  • Contact details (email, phone) of the organisation.

NGO Darpan Registration Process

1. Document Preparation

We collect all necessary details and scan copies of the registration certificate, PAN, and board members' documents.

2. Online Profile Creation

We create an account on the NGO Darpan portal (ngodarpan.gov.in) and fill in the organisation profile with accurate information.
